Instead of attending yet another book launch Cardinals Burke, Muller and Arinze would have done better to go the Synod Hall and Santa Maria in Traspontina to destroy the idols and tear down the bestial poster Book launches and letters aren't an appropriate response to idolatry

True but anyone in the whole of Rome could have done the same. And we need these men to stay free. I don't want what's happened to Cardinal Pell to happen to them.

They're cardinals. They won't get arrested for walking into the synod hall and smashing these idols.

Oh, now...there is room for both: book launch AND smashing idols.

A formal condemnation of Francis heresy would be even better

Know what's a great response to idolatory?🙋‍♂️ Any Romans of Athanasian spirit this evening? Time to punch Pachamama in the face, and then dismember that idol like Moses did. Scatter fragments in Tiber for good measure.

Do it yourself. Take a friend to film it. What’s stopping you?

Hear-Hear The disciples didn't leave poor souls in their idolatry they freed them from it and many died in the process. (The Roman Martyrology)
