That’s “Yoll” the eagle owl. She has her own channel, run by her Russian ornithologist caretaker.

all roads in and around so called P'bakkam are horrible to the core, with the amount of revenue people and # of passing thru the area, even basic amenities are not elementary standard, so much disgust how 1 person can amass wealth and do corruption and no one gives a damn

Yep. I’m amazed by how no one bats an eyelid when Perumbakkam is worse than all neighbouring Panchayats in terms of cleanliness & roads. Yes, roads are bad elsewhere too. But this sheer callousness to basic hygiene in Perumbakkam is mind boggling.

Good thread, Manoshi. So the cutoff date is the main issue?

The hypocrisy in this tweet has to be called out. There is a reason "journlists" of English Media are called some of the most uncharitable names. Assam and Jamia are fighting for polar opposite reasons. Assam doesn't want anyone - H or M - to be legalized. JMU wants Muslims.

I just hope all bengalis realize what sort of hell their state is turning into under mamata banerjee. Next election should be a clarion call to oust her else it's doomed.

An ingenuous argument why those who lose elections should get to form Government. We have heard this before.

For the likes of Nidhi Razdans, Sehla Rasheeds, Umar Khalids, Gulam Nabis who miss stone pelting in Kashmir can take solace from this view from Bengal. For them Didi should be new ray of hope.

Brilliant thread. If you don’t have time what she is saying is there were two Corbyns. Ayyampetai arivudainambi kaliyaperumal corbyn chandran and ayyampettai arivudainambi kaliyaperumal corbyn Indran. And that Indran is a media creation and that’s why chandran lost

All such suburbs are called Panchayats for NOT providing even basic civic amneities, basic infrastructure. Unbelievable filth, huge craters called roads, no street lights, no corporation or metro water. But all given Chennai pin codes so that realtors can sell their flats.

I saw filth in Sithalapakkam too (which is practically Chennai, but for administrative reasons a panchayat). Unless garbage collection is beefed up in urban areas masquerading as a panchayat, we’ll never have a clean India. Or a healthy India.

According to the panchayat, there aren’t enough conservancy workers. The area is so filthy - garbage dumped in an empty plot, overflowing garbage bins, garbage everywhere. It’s an eyesore & a ticking bomb for epidemic proportion of diseases, since it’s a densely populated area.
