President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern...

This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question. President Trump has given the press more access than any President in history.

Contrary to CNN’s assertions there is no greater demonstration of the President’s support for a free press than the event he held today. Only they would attack the President for not supporting a free press in the midst of him taking 68 questions from 35 different reporters...

...over the course of 1.5 hours including several from the reporter in question. The fact that CNN is proud of the way their employee behaved is not only disgusting, it‘s an example of their outrageous disregard for everyone, including young women, who work in this Administration

As a result of today’s incident, the White House is suspending the hard pass of the reporter involved until further notice.

Acosta was asked repeatedly to give up the mic and then he pushes down the aids arm so she couldn't take the mic. He is relentless in his nonstop bashing of the pres. He is rude, arrogant, loud and asks ludicrous questions. He does not deserve to have a press pass.

Jim Acosta was rude. He was asked to give the mic back and he ignored the requests. He should have his press rights in the White House removed. Other news people had their rights to ask questions and he overstepped his rights as far as I’m concerned!!

That is an OUTRIGHT, BOLD FACE LIE! He hates any press that criticizes him and how dare you tell us anything different! We shouldn’t believe our own eyes? Just like the intern was doing her job, he was doing his! Enough attacks on the press! ENOUGH!!!

Except the intern overstepped her office. Interns have no authority to force compliance. She should have requested the mike then waited for it. Her grabbing constitutes common assault. Her boss is responsible.

My God, Sanders, you are such a liar. I do not understand how you live with yourself. Everyone knows about the doctored video and that Acosta's behavior was pushy as a reporter's should be when the President doesn't answer a question, but he didn't assault that intern. Shame on U

So Sarah- have you had a chance to apologize to Jim Acosta for lying about him when you said he placed "his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a WH intern"? I so hope you are called to testify in the CNN court case. Judges often frown on flat out lying.
