But it's been seriously EXHAUSTING to play since Kage launched and winning never feels fun anymore. Though I'm sure I'm be straight back on it if Rose gets announced! 🌹 🎉

Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my Street Fighter V journey and probably also the end. I managed to get to Gold rank with a character that is generally thought of as shit tier and that's more than enough for me!

I know how hard it can be, it's a very different skill set! 😬

I've found it helpful to use a limited palette and only use a handful of colours that work well together. Or even just being like, I'm only gonna use greens for this, so it's like working with grey tones. Watercolour is great for that.

Aw JEEZ. Probably still the most unnecessary attitude/approach I've experienced so far.

Thanks. I feel like its more knowing that a change needs to be made but not knowing how to go about it. But I'll get there in the end!

That seems the way to go for sure :) I'm definitely needing to shake up the way draw for my own sake, so I'm open to evvverything!

Guess I've got to get back to being serious about this.

Actually though, this might sound stupid but I almost feel like I'm ready to go to art school. It's funny how things turn out.

Hmm, I've not actually tried that. I'm probably a little too reliant on inking at the moment. But it's always worth a try!

I'm using thick-ish pens at the moment and that's pretty fun! I use a brush 80% of the time but i still love it, dip pen's make me go really angular for some reason. I feel like I overthink how I think it should look, and end up overworking things. If that makes sense?

I always see artists say that style is your own thing and a reflection of yourself, etc. but what if you want to change that? Is it possible or does "style," just stick to you forever? Do you just accept it and keep going despite knowing that you don't enjoy the aesthetic ? HUH?

But then what I enjoy isn't always reflective of output. Like I enjoy listening to Hip Hop but I'd never dream of making a Rap album. There's comics I enjoy reading but would never have the artistic instinct or flair to create.

I don't really know how to word this but I'm finding it hard to enjoy the way that I draw at the moment. This isn't to say that I think the work is bad, but if I don't enjoy that "style," of drawing, is it worth it to keep going in that direction?
