My wife was made to go through a redundancy consultation when our son was in SCBU and then made redundant during MAT leave when he was home. So many employers see you as a burden in these circumstances. I got two weeks of compassionate leave when he was born at 29 weeks. Shocking

Universities have spent £87 million on NDAs. We get so many messages from female academics who get shafted as soon as they announce they are pregnant, and students have no real rights or protections from pregnancy or maternity discrimination.
