The United are my favorite soccer team. I'm also a big fan of the Nats, Redskins, and Bullets.

I've heard that facial recognition is why you have to remove your cap at the Park security check.

Cousins isn't going to play 16 games if he keeps getting hit that hard that often. At least no bad head shots yesterday.

Is there a concussion protocol for announcers? Romo sounding addled.

Win, win, win, yep that's what the Boys are setting up to do.

I've been making Sal's Famous cracks about the music acts booked at Park for four years now, time for Mookie to throw a trash can.

Assuming the don't cut salary, they'll pay 30% tax in 2018 and 50% in 2019. Doubling Harper's salary would be roughly a $10m annual tax hit.

Unless major cuts are made, a $400m contract for Harper would cost the $500m with competitive balance tax.

Cousins career is going to be cut short if he keeps taking shots to the head. Can't always be prevented but he's not protecting himself.

Cousins blows to the head = RGIII blows to the knee. KC better worry more about concussions than a contract.

So far so good, great action, no lulls, no gaping plot holes. Could use a better villain, but highly entertaining.

In the article you state that the dispute "likely will not be settled for years", based on what time line? There can't be indefinite avenues for appeal.

With the up against competitive balance tax this is a near certainty, only Q is whether Rizzo will give up prospects or drop salary.

I'm not a scout, but I'd put the ceiling on our current C prospects at good backup/bottom tier starter.

#1 offseason need is a top young catcher with years of team control who can learn under Wieters for a season while competing for starts.

What I can't figure out is who leaked the salary numbers. Doesn't seem to benefit either side.

No argument there, just hate seeing a 97 win team handed over to a guy who is a big question mark.

Back to my original response, it's valid to claim that the Nats went cheap on the manager, but not on this particular manager.

I keep reading that but almost all of the publicity known salaries are much higher. Davey kept getting passed over, could have gotten him for less.
