another quote. Let’s get rid of all grades. Even the letters, working towards, meeting etc which the children just count up as if there were number grades. thanks for prompting me to read this!

'Children know the difference b/w a wellbeing program & the reality of school life.' rethinks : build equitable, inclusive & caring environments, tackle broader social barriers, not just one-off MHealth talks👏

I agree school environment makes a big difference. Just completed my masters research in NZ, which showed schools influence teacher wellbeing. Yes, what individuals do makes a difference, but wellbeing needs to move beyond just an individualistic approach to a collective one.

is a courageous, honest woman in a very public space woking hard to create a safer more equitable society for all. The ABC made a terrible mistake. Let’s ensure it doesn’t detract from or diminish support for this great lady and for this work

Brilliant session with students considering what it means to be courageous in their context. They advised their teacher to stand by her principles and take the action that she was seeking the courage to take!

Completely agree Sue. People could choose to read Contextual Wellbeing. Says it all...But when oh when will people in power acknowledge and make the change.

I agree. Never descend to the level of bigots. Be the bigger person. Disagree with ideas, argument not vitriol
