Andy Stephenson, West Hertford branch member, answered the call for NHS volunteers at the beginning of the pandemic. He wears his Legion shirt to every hospital shift, where he discovered patients are pleased and comforted to see the our poppy logo on his shirt. Well done Andy!

Today marks the 80th anniversary of Operation Dynamo, when the , began to evacuate over 338,000 British and Allied soldiers trapped at Dunkirk. We remember the service and sacrifice of all those involved in the operation and those who never made it home.

Our Walsingham Branch in Norfolk has formed a Community Task Force with local partners to look out for anyone vulnerable, lonely or isolating, providing support and aid for the duration of social distancing. Thank you to all our members who are supporting their local communities.

Today marks 11 years since the end of Op TELIC, the codename for the UK's military operations in Iraq, where 179 personnel lost their lives. Chris served in Iraq and this is his story. Today we thank you all for your service.
