Yes. HR talk diversity but not when it comes to employing older people. God forbid they have more experience and knowledge than their young bosses. More so, it is harder to 'amortise the hope' of the old as corps do with the young. As there's less duration in the structure.

So, Twitter. I have been a freelancer for over 20 years. I'm fed up with this "feast or famine" caper. I want a proper job with a decent stable income. But I'm now 60. Am I too old?

The view seems to be that older people don't need hope where work is concerned, except the hope of being pensioned off. This must change.
