Continuing the Battle of Solferino. It’s 10am (turn 6) & the Austrians are in tricky spot. Creative Italians have cut off Benedek’s 8th corps & the Imperial right flank. Stadion holds Solferino but pressure is mounting; on the southern plain its tit for tat & Canrobert is coming.

105 years ago: Battle of Drina: After a night of hard fighting and accurate Serbian artillery fire. The 21st Landwehr Division reports 2000 wounded in a day. However, 150 are 'low-degree hand injuries' - likely self-inflicted.
