Wait. You didn't tell me it was Unitarian. That's a stone's toss from a Reformed shul. For real provocation, I demand a Catholic cathedral.

2007: I need a beefy computer to play top-of-the-line video games 2017: I need to submerge a supercomputer in liquid oxygen just to browse the Internet. Slack eats 6GB of memory and says I'm offline every 20 seconds and apparently that is worth $5bn

In a low-profile Iowa state senate election last night, the Democratic nominee lost but ran 32 (!) points ahead of Clinton.

Because it would seem that if progressive candidates show up to fight and are funded they can actually win elections, we are gonna be here this weekend. Show up and unass a little money to take back this republic:

I hear this all the time, and, for example, has been specifically focusing on this and, surprise, it is not hard to find within-reach but drastically underfunded districts on the Dem side.

TY for highlighting this! Campaigns in low-income rural districts like (Joshua Tree) struggle to even hit $100k. No Dem before me has ever raised more than $36k & the state/national party has never invested in electoral infrastructure, candidate development or GOTV here.

Alabama just swung by 30 points. The candidates we’re meeting tonight in SF are running in R+11 and R+9 districts, in California, against weak incumbents. But the Democratic party is too 🐔to take these races seriously

What a victory for the people of Alabama last night. Our whole team was up late watching the results come in and celebrating. The lesson is clear: when we organize everyone, everywhere - we win.
