Congratulations and best wishes to our MD; David Boorer and his partner, Sally on the birth of their baby daughter, Mabel born yesterday evening at 5pm. Both Sally and baby are doing well.... Oh and David is ok too!

Today the band travel to Torquay to compete in the West of England Brass Band Association Regionals 2019 against 15 other bands competing in the 2nd section. Wishing all bands competing today, the very best of luck!

This evening (8pm) at Henhayes Centre, Crewkerne we will be holding an 'open rehearsal'. We would be delighted if you came along and listened to the band finalise preparations for the test piece and experienced a rehearsal leading to an important contest. FREE entry.

This evening we are delighted to welcome back to our rehearsal, Nigel Seaman; Musical Consultant to to assist with our preparations for Regionals in March. Nigel has kindly assisted with our rehearsals previously, offering guidance with both Regional and Nationals.

Our first rehearsal back from the festive break is on Tuesday 8th January 2019. Valves oiled, slides lubricated and we're ready to go under the direction of our Musical Director; David Boorer with just over 8 weeks until the Regional Championships in Torquay.
