Ok, I admit I am very angry this morning. Got into it with my parents about my mother's obsession with Eastern Spiritualism and my father actually started defending the heresy she was saying. I am beyond defeated right now. How did this happen to my family?

praying for you dude. it takes a lot of emotional energy to confront this sort of thing with family members and even if they argued with you about it/made excuses, you've broken ground. maybe they felt convicted in the moment but weren't willing to give it up just yet, who knows

It’s unfortunately the desire of some to seek ecumenical ideas. I assume that was the context of one of your tweets. But if they don’t like what the Bible says about this, then I’ll pray for you. But do not be shaken by this. Just be strong and witness even to them.

Defensiveness is human nature, one should not be suprised when its the first reaction to sin being called out. A lot of christians seem to be messing with aspects of buddhism and i think it is because, they don't really understand that it is religious, and that they are 1/2

2/2 worshiping something else, they just see it as self-help. But Christ says he will make us whole, we must meditate on him
