It’s why I’m so passionate about not letting Bill Shorten repeat history & drive a stake through the hearts of small businesses around the country with his higher taxes.

Paul Keating almost destroyed my Dad’s small business with his heartless mismanagement of the economy & he inspired me to join the Liberal Party.

Labor’s reckless border failures have cost our country dearly. Labor hasn’t learnt their lesson. Only the Coalition stands for secure borders, tough law enforcement and strong national security.

Under Labor over 50,000 people arrived on over 800 boats; there were 1,200 deaths at sea (that we know of); over 8,000 children were detained & 17 detention centres were opened at a cost of $16 billion to Australian taxpayers.

Only the Morrison Government will keep our borders secure. Our strong border protection policies under OSB have ended the deaths at sea and enabled us to close 19 detention centres, ensuring the removal of every child placed in detention by Labor.

It comes on top of dangerous comments by Paul Keating, an influential confidante of Bill Shorten, and it shows Labor represent a serious risk in the area of border protection and national security.

It is now clear that Mr Shorten does not stand for strong borders, strong law enforcement and strong national security - Labor stands for the complete opposite.

Bill Shorten initially said he would support a Home Affairs portfolio, but it is abundantly clear now that he does not given he has declined my offer for a National Security debate at the National Press Club.

I apologise to Ms France for my comments yesterday. My argument with the Labor candidate is about how our respective policies would affect the people of Dickson.

Labor's Housing Tax would reduce home values and push up rents. Help us stop it at Australia can't afford Labor.

Tradies in Lawnton, Strathpine, Bray Park, Albany Creek, Warner, Kallangur and all over Australia - get ready for the mother of all taxes under Labor. That’s on top of abolishing negative gearing which will whack the renovation market. Don’t vote for Shorten. You can’t trust him.

On the day bodies are being recovered and grieving families are making funeral preparations you are seeking to make some nonsensical and pathetic political point for attention. you’ve confirmed your status as a disgrace.
