Tomorrow marks day 1 of year 13 for my teaching career. I’m nervously excited but can’t wait to see all of those smiling faces. Excited to start the year on a high note and continue the climb! Good luck to everyone starting their school year! Be awesome for your students!

I have survived a week back at school! With a gym for my students not happening this year, I really need some yard games to entertain my high schoolers!

Shelly, maybe try the Early Childhood module from . Some really great stuff. Other than that, my advice would be take it SLOW! I could see it being very frustrating at first but really hammer down the basics.

I like this as well. Some days I think the warm-up and fitness may change and may add more time to the focus/game activity portion but pretty much spot on.

What if you attached it somehow to a wall and students sat on a scooter and used the rope to pull themselves from one end to the other?

I took an old cone and basketball, glued them together, and spray painted them gold. It was actually a really easy evening project.

Yes. I was thinking this year I would add in another and have one for K-2 and then a 3-5 one.

Super glue! Then I remind students that they can’t touch it when it is in their classroom...so far so good...

We do a champions of the month trophy each month. The class that works the hardest, behaves the best, etc. gets to keep the trophy in their classroom for the month.
