Rich "The People's Pundit" Baris
Toledo and Pittsburgh endorse , first Republican endorsements in Democratic areas since 1988 and 1972, respectively.
J.M. Carpenter Nov 1
The surprise might make it more memorable than typical endorsements that don't matter. Do you think it matters here?
Small Gov Lizard Nov 1
I'm no expert but I can't see how. News papers can barely stay in business. Hard to see how they can meaningfully have any impact.
Iustinus I, Emperor Nov 1
Toledo very similar to Michigan too....
Linda Kaboolian Nov 1
Misleading: both papers now owned by Block family. Anti union, anti worker. Google them. It is sickening.
Tom Smith Nov 1
Wow.
Howard Herman Nov 1
Same company. Same writer
Rick Schultz Nov 1
Smart writer!
Patrik Herman Nov 1
Something big is happening.
Steve Priestap Nov 1
I’ve lived off and on in Toledo since 1974. The Blade has been seen as liberal for thirty years. This endorsement is a local shockwave.
Kkosterad Nov 1
The Blade is known to be Right/Center, and both newspapers are owned by Block Communications. These endorsements should not be a surprise to anyone.
