Despite their similarities, the words RAGE and OUTRAGE are entirely unrelated. RAGE derives via French from the Latin ‘rabare’, meaning ‘to rave madly’, while OUTRAGE is a French corruption of ‘ultra’, the Latin for ‘beyond’ or ‘excessive’.

“If we don't plant the right things, we will reap the wrong things. It goes without saying. And you don't have to be, a brilliant biochemist and you don't have to have an IQ of 150. Just common sense tells you to be kind, fool. Be kind” - Maya Angelou 🌷

St Michael's Mount is a great place that will be *completely covered at high tide right up to the top* if all the ice in Antarctica follows the Arctic ice, & melts... Note: 2 record temperatures in Antarctica in February - 20C & 18.3C, archipelago & mainland... Graphic, isnt it?

This week, a Brazilian researcher in Antarctica recorded a temperature of 69°F (20.75°C) — if confirmed, it is the hottest temperature ever measured on the continent. The previous record was *just last week*: 65°F (18.3°C) We are in a climate emergency.

In Italian you say ”invocare la iella” when you do something that can make bad luck notice and interact with something in a negative way. I just realized that humanity had been hopelessly cursed since this particular word came into existence...

EU has voted yes to spending €29 billion on 32 major gas infrastructure projects that “will lock Europe into burning fossil fuels for generations.” So much for declaring a “climate emergency”....

This is part of how we change society for the better today: engage yourself and do not look away, no matter how hard it can be. There is strength in numbers.
