If you think it’s smart, it’s not. If you think it’s funny, it’s not. If you think it helps your side, it doesn’t. Support any candidate you choose, but think before showing extreme ignorance.

Agree with importance of community papers. Second generation independent. Circulation and revenue stable. Connected to community. But websites won’t solve anything. Lack of high speed internet and aging rural demographic ensure importance of print for years to come.

Since equalization is a federal program, and Alberta does not make equalization payments, this is an empty promise. He can promise to complain about them.

National and regional pollsters do provincial and regional political polls to build brand. Sometimes paid questions are added, often consumer related, at the bottom.

Yes. National firm. Spotty record. Got Calgary mayoralty completely wrong.

One is a polling company. One is a website “poll” that allows people to answer multiple times with no controls or weighting. There is no comparision.

That’s not a poll. It’s just called one.

If you believe this poll (big sample size but spotty pollster history) Liberals have a tough road forward and Tories have a major issue with female voters, at 20% support

Agree. But if one of your issues is convincing Islanders you are different, ensuring your MLAs avoid making non-issues issues becomes an issue (sorta a Donald Rumsfeld answer)

Because Sid made a comment about using social media for advertising. How can you say you support Islanders when you make excuses to support corps with questionable records that offer zero support to the Island economy?

Never said they were. Steven is a great guy. So is Sidney. But the issue is with Tory planning. It failed. Not the media. So don’t try to make it something other than it is - a PC mistake.

Irony: PC leader promises to do politics differently as 2 MLAs blame media for basic failure of PC planning. Not to mention justifying use of social media firms that pay no tax on PEI, employ no Islanders, have questionable reach and are proven mediums for hatred.
