The main and immediate victims are the indigenous peoples! The only reason why this fire persists is because indigenous people have no rights and no respect. Families are losing their homes and communities are losing their histories— we can’t forget about them.

It is incredibly important to recognize that this is happening due to fascist president Bolsonaro allowing farmers to intentionally deforest land for cattle ranching. For profit. Capitalism breeds exploitation of both people and the earth. Don’t just pray, organize.

The Australian rat doesn’t carry disease or smell and unlike the Euro rat is not dependent on humans for food and shelter. It moves through this country’s history as a proud, independent figure, fluffy and odd-looking and ...’somewhat magical’.

Shellie made me stand in front of some prints with my book to remind you that Father's Day is coming and this book would make a wonderful gift. Do it for Shellie she worked so hard this week.

They are! Our friend Dr Don is a termite expert and was the first person we knew with his own website. It’s still going - and he’s still updating it - nearly 30 years later! Highly recommended:
