This Chestnut-headed Oropendola spent over 10 minutes on the feeder this morning. It ate a few bites, yet it mostly stood still, at times it looked like a statue. Wonder what it was pondering? Here is a short highlight of this long visit with some fun cameos! 11/13/2019 10:14

A Red-crowned Woodpecker pair, a Baltimore Oriole and a Clay-colored Thrush share the feeder. Male and female Red-crowned Woodpeckers drum and give hard rattling calls. Pairs stay together year-round but sleep individually in holes. 11/12/2019 09:45
