Tack's youngsters are spending more time exploring their outside exhibit with each day that passes. ๐Ÿคฉ One of the red-ruffed lemur twins has a white patch of fur on their back leg; this is the bolder individual of the pair, while the other youngster is a little more shy!

Our Mammal, Vet and Facilities teams did Duchess and themselves proud yesterday, showing true dedication and incredible care right up until the end. Everyone put their all into trying to save her, but in the end the difficult decision to euthanise her was the only option. (2/3)

We are very sad to announce the death of Duchess, our African elephant, earlier today. Keepers found her collapsed in her enclosure early this morning, and after being assessed by our veterinary team, we took the difficult decision to euthanise her on humanitarian grounds. (1/2)
