I remember Peter presenting that work to the CUNY Social-Personality program and getting into a discussion with Stan Milgram who argued that simplicity is a prerequisite for any action, and Peter countering that there are always alternatives to violence.

I'm curious. Do you believe your finding would be strengthened or weakened by the greater variety of messaging tools available today - some of which, perhaps, lend themselves to simpler language, or (speculatively) an increased use of simpler language by current national leaders?
