A new wrinkle in the suspension issue. According to THE RING Magazine editor : if Canelo is suspended due to clembuterol use, he will be stripped of The Ring title and dropped from its P4P list.

Does that move everyone up a spot in the rankings?

He’s no champ and he’s definitely no top 10 P4P. 😂

That’s more than reasonable no issue with that at all. Canelo let everyone down.

I think we all know Canelo has no viable excuse here. If not cheating then simply for being so stupid, (negligence, naive) he must be suspended

Why would they do that?

I know he's there top draw ...But it just seems to me that everytime an athlete gets tarnished in the media they get cut loose. But again I've seen worse in boxing.

The WBC title and “lineal” designation has nothing to do with the Ring title

Yeah. I meant to say the magazine had canelo at the #1 spot at 160 even before he fought GGG, who still is the #1 kingpin at 160 I couldn't agree with that

You couldn't agree with your own fantasy then, because Canelo was not in the No. 1 spot prior to fighting GGG or anyone else. He wasn't in the middleweight ratings at all until he beat Cotto for the RING title November 2015.

But that's what I just said. He was put there before facing the real #1 at 160 who was and still is GGG. The magazine put him after the Cotto, but GGG was already the boogeyman at 160 I couldn't agree with that

Nobody PUT him anywhere. Canelo put himself in the RING and WBC world title slot by beating Cotto.

Got it There's certain rankings and opinions I don't agree, but it doesn't stop me from learning or appreciating the love for the sport that other people have as well I know you been around the game for a LONG time and I respect your opinion regardless if I agree or not
