New stats show that recorded music ended this past year - and decade - on a high. Consumption increased for a 5th consecutive year in 2019, new talent flourished, vinyl and cassette sales surged and streaming broke new barriers (more than 100 billion in 2019).

The number of agreements that allow us to collect international royalties continues to grow. This quarter 34,000 performers and recording rightsholders received £17.6 million in international royalties from PPL. Read more about our work:
