For those who feel afib isn’t a big hemodynamic deal, look at the art line to ekg ‘gap’ and TV to PV ‘gap’ on the RV in-out view. What’s the next best step? Ping

I often wonder why there is a hesitancy to institute this treatment in the initial outset. Good hx, Lung US - bilat B lines. 5 puffs GTN, NIV, all before an IV line and Froosemide. Review and descalate as needed

Avoid the dreaded phrenic nerve palsy and diaphragmatic paralysis for shoulder regional anaesthesia. Go a little distal to where you would normally do an inter scalene block.

Can I suggest an alternative to that waterbath? Instead of using the solid PP jug, use a vomit/hurl bag filled with warm water? Single use, less expensive. The bag will fit around hands with flexion deformities. Like so...

I'm PC based and have stuck with PowerPoint. The latest version of it has much better video playback - used to lag a lot (loading) and required running the slide show from start to end to ensure that all videos were pre loaded. The latest version does not need that.

MUST BE A CORE COMPETENCY FOR ALL DOCTORS OF ALL SPECIALTIES. TIRED OF WRITING NON-SUSTAINABLE GRANTS => NONSUSTAINABLE PROGRAM. POCUS MUST BE A CORE REQUIREMENT BY ABIM & LICENSING BOARD, SO THAT FUNDING COMES STRAIGHT DOWN FROM MED SCHOOL, RESIDENCY, & FELLOWSHIP
