The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment. Out of an abundance of caution the residence was checked for possible armed suspects. No suspects were located in the residence. The investigation is ongoing. (2/3)

BARRICADE UPDATE: At approximately 1:20 am, officers responded to the 3500 block of Summit Drive for a report of a contact shooting. Once on scene, officers located an adult male outside the residence suffering from trauma to his body. (1/3)
