Shortly after the shooting, a suspect was located and taken into custody by our K-9 officers. Detectives are on scene attempting to establish a motive in this case. Anyone w/ info in this investigation call 1-866-411-TIPS. You don’t have to reveal your identity. $$$ reward.

At approx 4:10 pm officers responded to a shooting. Preliminarily, an altercation occurred in a vehicle which resulted in 2 adult victims shot. Both victims were taken to the hospital. One victim sustained a non life threatening injury while the other is in critical condition.

Prelim: At approximately 8:30 pm, a SUV traveling eastbound on Central Avenue struck an adult male who was in the roadway. The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
