Public Service Announcement: Don’t park in the bike lanes, it’s illegal. I can’t even imagine why this person thought this would be ok.

I don't suppose this means that you're going to start ticketing people who park in the bike lanes on east st and brighton ave in the north side every sunday around noon, does it? it's kind of irritating that the city doesn't enforce those because churches want free parking

We do enforce them, we write tickets in all of the bike lanes. But, people still park there. As we ticket more, illegal parking will decrease. We’re committed to making this work.

Better signage might could help. We’ll talk to the city about it.

Not only are vehicles in the lanes but most pedestrians don’t even 👀

Most of the time pedestrians have the right of way, though.

Yes. The guy in the white shirt is an enforcement officer.

When a car violates a bike lane, first choice is a parking ticket, second choice is a sticker.

Someone trying to park illegally in resident parking on my street in Bloomfield thought it was ok to just make a right turn into my car’s side panel, shove my headlight under the hood, & drive off without leaving a note with their info. Humans can be pretty awful.
