“Cooking” is leading cause of fires and fire related injuries in . Just after 2 pm a kitchen fire occurred at apartment in 13100 block Larchdale RD in Laurel. Working smoke alarm alerted neighbor, quick call to 911 and extinguishment. 1 adult displaced, estimated loss at $10K
