“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God.......And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles.” Anne Frank, The Diary of a Young Girl

Similar to my day - 8am BCP Holy Communion and then a lovely walk in the sunshine followed by a pub lunch with Al and some friends. 👌

I think there are others ways formation exists. Im not training for ordination but as an LLM with ordinands. What a rich experience they are already having in leading and preparing services with us - collaboratively sharing as a ministry team pre ordination.

Awww thanks Jo. My twinny is letting me raid her wardrobe on Saturday and if that fails then it will be the afternoon of the 31st. Prob in Bury as they have a big Debenhams and I know my way around Bury. You need to tell me when the next big day is. Praying!

Having an evening of creativity :) shocking I know but I made my FIRST ever batch of soup - carrot and ginger and it’s delicious. Also using my new writing slope to write letters and praying as I write for the person I am writing to :D

Forest bathing and bird watching. What’s not to love? Why not meditate on Psalm 148 while you are at it.

NIGHT PRAYER: Jesus, the Christ, however little we know your Gospel it is light in our midst and your presence among us. Welcoming this light is knowing that you will be with us in every situation, always. Amen.

‘To walk through a town or city or up a hill or along a lane being aware of everything can be a spiritual exercise. The mystics knew about this sense of absolute awareness and attention and it’s something we can learn too.’ 💕
