So you're saying those RTX cores are just ISA instructions executing on shader cores?!! GG Well played Nvidia

I almost mistook TAA for a motion blur drawcall while looking at a RenderDoc capture. Can't beat the level of crispiness MSAA provides. Hopefully per-primitive VRS can be extended to do SSAA as well for shader/texture aliasing issues.

I've been calling Steam a malware since 2003. We don't need all these gimmicky online gaming stores. There's now two levels of publishers skimming everything off and the devs only get crumbs.

Basically looks like TAA neighborhood clamp with some sharpening applied as a post-process. Also, how does it compare with forward+ techniques like MSAA?

Damn it's crazy expensive here. If you call 911 for a medical emergency and get a ride to the hospital in an ambulance, they charge you around 5000$ which isn't covered by your insurance at all!

Folding@home and Bitcoin should be buried six feet under ground. What a massive waste of resources to produce nothing of value.

The new doom looks good but lacks a global illumination solution, virtual lights are everywhere carefully placed by artists and probe system isn't great as the gun doesn't get any environmental shadows. But it makes up with lots of geometry, textures, vfx, great levels and art!

Introducing inline DXR: When the shader world goes out of spec, AMD pulls it back together to make it unified again! Shiny, shiny...

Mesh Shaders are a step in right direction but there seems to be a lot of ifs and buts as to when it actually is more beneficial compared to the traditional DX11 pipeline. What will happen to the tessellation HW acceleration is also a mystery.

Cool! I honestly don't know anything about SV and only installed it because one of the RTL engineers was so frustrated with me frequently reporting performance issues that she was even willing to teach me some SV so I could fix them all by myself!

Whoa! This is the first I've seen. Gone are the days of games blacking out or running poorly cause you forgot to update the drivers!
