Aaaaaand we are back! After a kernel panic and unrecoverable softraid all VMs are up and running again. This time with static MAC, static IP out of dhcpd and installed with auto_install based on the static MAC. Still keeping a close eye on the connectivity issues.

there isn't a missing drive. It's the actual softraid "drive" which is missing, sd8.

Drives are, from what I can see, are OK. HBA is reporting them to be ok. OpenBSD sees them without problems.

Yes. Very. Will apply some more automation with DHCP, static MACs, static IPs and auto_install. Might make the process quicker this time around to create 25+ instances.

Not going to be able to recover as it seems. The softraid is severely damaged and is not to be found. Will rebuild the instances as soon as possible.

Ok. We have hit a dbb prompt. Unfortunately we weren't able to capture the console this time. :( Recovering at the moment.

reyk@ modified usr.sbin/vmd/vioscsi.c: Revert unrelated change to vioscsi.c (I had this in my tree to silence vioscsi.c log_debug, but Carlos already has a better diff for that)

reyk@ modified usr.sbin/vmd: Track resources and enforce cpu/memory/interface limits for non-root users. The limits are currently hard-coded and undocumented (4 CPUs/VMs, 2G memory, 8 interfaces) but will be configurable in an upcoming diff. These limits are tracked in total u...

reyk@ modified usr.sbin/vmd: Add "allow instance" option. This allows users to create VM instances and change desired options, for example a user can be allowed to run a VM with all the pre-configured options but specify an own disk image. (mlarkin@ was fine with iterating ove...
