I don't think we'll go back to CPU mining because of Jevons paradox. Essentially demand will rise together with technological advances that does make mining and energy production more efficient but it also makes Bitcoin even better and more suitable for more applications.

supply vs demand halving critics: demand is what it is. price level is where net buying equals new supply. then supply rate halves, other things being equal, what do you think happens? don't confuse day trader liquidity for net buyable supply, hodlers keep buying to cold store.

Bitcoin on jo merkittävä valuutta (rahaa).

UK poistui kultakannasta jo 1914, jolloin alettiin printtaamaan rahaa ensimmäisen maailmansodan rahoittamiseen. 30-luvun suuri lama johtui osittain siitä, että dollarien määrää lisättiin suhteessa kultavarantoihin ja samalla keskusjohtoisesti pidettiin palkkoja liian korkealla.

EASIEST WAY to validate your coins and become a first class Bitcoin Citizen: 1. Download Bitcoin Core 2. Wait for Initial Blockchain Download. 3. Send your coins to the Bitcoin Core wallet (this step verifies them). 4. Send to coldstorage. That's it! Enjoy!

Seurasta en tiedä, mutta Isolla osalla Bitcoinaajista on paljon yhteistä itävaltalaisen talousteorian kannattajien kanssa. Melkein sanoisin, että kaikki Bitcoijaajat ymmärtävät Austrian econ, mutta kaikki Austrian econ kannattajat eivät välttämättä ymmärrä Bitcoinia. Vielä.

Click-bait with a question that has an obvious answer. We should do better than this.

Do mistake the purchase of a book for the acquisition of its contents. Books are money cheap, but time expensive. And time is a superior resource to money. Remember this next time someone says a book is cheap. No book is cheap. It's merely the payment method which differs.
