If the worst comes to it, there's a shop called Gorge Outdoors down beneath the cliffs. Or cheese... Lots of cheese.

Ridgeway logistics. I've rearranged my YHA accommodation for a weekend in mid-July. But still facing the issue of travelling between Watlington and Uffington (to return to my car) with a lack of public transport links. Especially on a Sunday.

I'm also looking at the logistics for getting back on next month and walking from Uffington to Watlington over two days. But buses appear to be 'banned' from Uffington and Watlington's not well served on Sundays.

Currently working on a video from my Black Mountains hike at the beginning of May. Still cannot believe that, at the fourth attempt, I reached Hay Bluff and was rewarded with clear views! :-D

This time last week, I was on ... Perched on the fallen tree. Exhausted. Knowing Liddington Hill was still so far away. I also knew I'd be heading home early. I still don't regret my decision to come home the following day. I only hope I can get back to it soon.

Attempting to follow the River Yeo (River Ivel) west towards Langport... I turned back after the third field of waist-high grass. A blight on the MacMillan Way West route.
