Painting decaying trees of Savernake Forest, detritus, downland, sculptural forms, destruction in Syria. Norman & Saxon churches are pretty interesting too!

A spot of💧 and a little⚡️next Saturday won’t stop play. I’ve decluttered a room to exhibit my Syria range and Savernake inspired tree paintings in addition to my working studio. Looks as if normal service can be resumed in the garden next Sunday and beyond ⛅️.

Great piece on the already controversial study on reforestation. No it's not a silver bullet, but it's a powerful tool. It just has to be REAL forests not freaking plantations. Also, we actually, you know, have to do something. Govts need to act.
