Just like the majority of watchOS apps are languishing and neglected, and people don't care about most tvOS apps.

But never mind! “There is no smart watch market – just an Apple Watch market. The world is Apple's oyster.”

“The Apple Watch app removals weren't mentioned in the App Store release notes.” It doesn't even warrant a *mention* like a bug fix would!

Still find it crazy Instagram took the time for a Watch app but still no iPad app. A social network based on pics thought pics would be browsed on your watch screen and not an iPad?

Couldn’t they virtualize older versions to run under newer WatchKit versions? This is such a waste of developers efforts.

The problem is that developers don’t even want to bother maintaining what they’ve already released – watchOS simply isn’t worth it for most of them.

Add it to the pile… I tried finding a karaoke Apple TV app for a friend's party this week, but each was either broken or barely worked. 's Apple TV app directs users to pair it with their accompanying iOS app – the feature isn't even there anymore
