Why Drafts for Mac is not waiting for Marzipan. Don’t get me wrong, I think it will get be better and I’ll probably use the Yelp app or whatever, but not going to be good for productivity apps.

It's been doing it for years! I have a HTC HD2 running Jelly Bean and it does it there as well.

Right. I've always wondered why, and multiple Google searches over the years have yielded nothing at all…

I looked into why "tap status bar to scroll to top" behaviour is missing from Android: apparently Apple has patented it.

Something I've never understood about Android: Why does tapping the status bar briefly pop the notification shade down?

Apple should either turn Beats around or drop it now that they’ve incorporated their tech into Apple Music. The current line up of Beats products is bad, cheaply made and truly unlike Apple. And this Mickey thing is just the icing on the cake.

If it wasn't already clear that Apple gives zero f***s about Beats, this should help. — Apple launches limited edition Mickey Mouse Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones

Frankly, I think iOS is more anticompetitive according to the EU's measuring stick. Not only does each device come preinstalled with Apple apps, but users are also locked into using them forever. (That's not to mention the App Store.)

Oh man. You can't use Boot Camp and think that's a reliable indicator of a Windows experience.

Sure, but the tape measure isn't too accurate either :p

This is certainly more interesting and ambitious than a glorified tape measure app!

Sorry about this. The Apple Watch file-transfer framework has an undocumented 100 MB limit. Overcast transcodes the files to be smaller, but even that can only fit about 4 hours of reasonable quality into that size. More complex solutions are being considered for the future.
