Drinking Sniper is one of such ways. Can we deal with that first? Then deal with the second way? And the 3rd way? Alongside making mental health a priority? Can we? Or just let people continue taking their own lives?

And if people find another way, and that way becomes popular, we should also try to find a solution?

Get people to man the bridges and have cameras all over the place. There's a bridge not too far from my house (5 min walk); this is what the City Council did. You need exposure.

You read that on my TL? You need to comprehend issues better and offer sensible divergent views. This is not it.

Just like the sale of codeine was regulated because of the abuse, I concur with Dipo on this one. It's time a thought is given to the regulation of the sale of sniper over the rising rate of suicide.

Obama tried but was stopped by the Republican controlled Senate. Trump is openly pro-guns. NRA is VERY powerful. Their people are still getting killed and laws are being amended, as little as it seems, they are making progress.

Just follow , a fantastic group doing great stuff per mental health. If mental health wasn't a priority 5 years ago in Nigeria, it should be now, because too many needless deaths.

Why is gun control gaining loads of attention in the USA? Because more and more people are killing other people and themselves with guns. They sell cutlasses in the US too and not many are asking that they stop selling cutlasses.

“Persin we wan die go die” or “persin we wan kill himself go find way do am” sounds so basic. Is this how we plan to discourage people from taking their own lives?

Let's say there are 20 means to commit suicide and one of such has become popular with people taking their own lives, besides making mental health a priority, what should the government do?

But banning the production and import of cough syrup containing codeine was the right thing to do?

If numerous people are taking their own lives with a particular substance, be it Sniper, Jik or Bleach, the right thing to do is look for ways to limit how people can access that substance. It's fine if this doesn't make any sense to you.

The sale of knives/sharp objects is controlled in some countries and you cannot legally buy them until you are 18 or 21. That doesn't mean that adults cannot take their own lives with a knife. But the control reduces the death rate, especially amongst teengers who carry knives.

No, but the government can reduce cause of death by limiting access to Sniper.
