Historic grain elevators are crumbling across the Prairies /via Reading some of the comments on this article is depressing and highlights what an uphill battle heritage preservation is.

We have received word from CRA that we have a tentative charitable status in place for our Society, after several years of back and forth submissions, paperwork, phone calls… Likewise, our historic designation on the 1925 Ogilvie Flour Mill elevator is pending as well.
