Ogun State Government - OGSG
The level of compliance with the use of facemasks, physical distancing and public transport regulations has not been impressive. Ogun State has witnessed a steady 27% rise in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases within the last week from 100 to 127.

Why not try Community-Based Intervention through health centres and community health officers across the state? Why aren't traditional rulers and religious leaders involved in the enlightenment and sensitisation programmes on COVID-19?

This steady increase is expected. Visit Panseke, Kuto, and other motor parks in the state to assess the level of compliance. So shocking that Inter state transport services are very much active in these parks.

The security personnel has not been of help, they are much more interested in bribe. It is important you do a check yourself sir. The compliance can only be effective if security personnel are not compromising.

Lift the lcokdown, maintain half work-day every other day, set curfew, enforce facemasks, inspect commercial buses, set stiff penalties for contravention, revoke licences of complacent vehicles, improve track&trace. Survey is good but all eyes on you!
