A few reasons not to give Geoffrey Boycott the keys to Number 10: - He was 3 years old on D-Day - 70,000 UK civilians died during WW2 - He has a conviction for assaulting a woman - In 2017 he said he’d be more likely to get a knighthood if he “blacked his face”

No, there’s no real equivalent of the Bible Belt. Worship is around the same, relatively low level across the country, with some exceptions (e.g. historical sectarian divides in Northern Ireland)
