An Image for Good Friday. 'Christ Carrying the Cross', Titian, 1565. Mark 15.21-24. This Holy Week I seem to be drawn to images of Christ where he looks 'direct to camera'.

🤣...fair point. However, any dancing I would do (I use the term loosely in my case) would be for the purposes of assimilating myself into the surroundings, undercover work, to gain intel ... perfectly legitimate 😇What are you suggesting? How's the decorating going by the way?😃

In Policing, when you strive to be liked, you have lost it. I endeavoured to earn respect during my service, from colleagues, but particularly from law abiding public

Brexit party leading at 27%; Change UK bringing up the rear at 6%. One poll that tells us everything we need to know about British politics today. Voters want democracy to be respected. They don't want another elitist party preaching liberal centrism.

The term 'lie', like too many other terms is bandied around too much, inappropriately and looses its point - as in this case. My ire is reserved for Campbell ... he, more often than not, simply fans the flames of discord

But a United States of Europe does 'have legs' for many. As you well know there are politicians and parties within the various countries of the EU who actually want a USE ... Shulz, Verhofstadt et al ... they are on record saying as such

This isn't 'satire'!! It borders on the criminal, is disgusting and A totally unacceptable thing to say - indefensible to excuse it. Everyone, certainly politicians, whether 'right', 'centre' or 'left' need to take responsibility in their speech and actions

Wonderful visual journey for Holy Week. Only Caravaggio could paint such desolate yet ultimately life giving events in such glory

Lammy’s comparison of Brexit with Nazism is absurd. Unlike Nazis, Brexit seeks: • national independence • democracy • to oppose the centralisation of political power in Europe. Brendan O’Neill on David Lammy’s unhinged attack on Brexit.
