A very happy 85th birthday to founding NhRP board member Dr. ! Scientific discoveries like Dr. Goodall's have helped create an unshakable foundation for the arguments in support of nonhuman animal rights we make in court—and soon, in legislatures.

We will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume your apparent hostility is coming from your compassion for animals and how stacked against animals the current system is. We get that. It's why we are in this fight. We seek a real shift in attitudes + animals' legal status.

As an NhRP supporter, you are part of a global struggle to change this immoral and unjust legal status quo. Comment how you would like to see justice for animals where you live and around the world! (4/4)

Today, all over the planet, nonhuman animals are treated as mere “things” under the law—incapable of possessing even a single right—despite growing scientific evidence of their rich emotional and social lives. (3/4)

International expansion is a core part of the NhRP's mission, and we connect whenever and however we can with people all over the world who want to join us in working to end the “thinghood” and rightlessness of nonhuman animals. (1/4)
