If it helps, the same thing happened to a different board game I was looking forward to get this week.

I think this could come across as selfish to folks but I put so much of myself into NPI and I know you put as much of yourself into JGG. I just want something for myself.

Dear oh dear. Patrick, and others - Last Place Podcast is just not in the books. I enjoy being friends with Jon, and on the VERY FEW occasions I get to spend time with him - I just don't want to do work. Sorry :(

Really curious to know if sending out early copies to reviewers somehow helps gauge whether to press the start button on the second print run? Or if it helps gauge anything at all?

There's a joke there somewhere about crapping your towels/vowels but it's far too inappropriate.

What disturbs me is that I read it as towel planning and it didn't surprise me as a theme in board games.

Tonight's unnecessarily large board game component award goes to Endeavour. Stay tuned for tomorrow's winner tomorrow.

Must be that nuanced Yorkshire humour that just whizzed by me. Barely caught it's drift - so subtle ;)

UK folks, if you'd like to say hi to me or maybe even play a game or something, I'll be at in Bristol in February and in March. Sadly, won't be there, but we're both at in June doing a show.

But to answer your question (which I failed to do in two full fat tweets), yes, that is what I mean.

A romp in the wild west turns into an exploration of escapism in relation to grief. How we run away from our troubles than facing the hard truth. That's something I've not seen in cardboard before.

I'm looking forward to reviewing Comanauts. I didn't love the gameplay, and it also has that wide array of characters that it doesn't explore. BUT, it does have a story that explores each location on a much deeper level relating to human experience.
