is at least funny. In a gruesome, obnoxious and scary way, but still. There is a parody of a Charles Dickens villain sleeping on the Tory front benches apparently dreaming about Churchill's grandson and a whip. Sounds like a weird porn story, really.

The House of Commons is in full blown panto mode today. It would be funny if it weren't so bloody important.

Lots of people fear clowns, I never did, always thought they were funny and stupid. But that was before we had one as Prime Minister. I'm terrified of them now.

In years to come we will reflect that the Prime Minister of the UK had to be taken to court to stop him breaking the law. What the fudge has happened to the UK? This lot certainly can't call themselves right honorable. Crooked spivs is more accurate. broke Britain.

Today’s events again prove that our Prime Minister is a disgraceful, mendacious buffoon who brings great shame on our country. For the sake of our world wide reputation and children and grandchildren’s future let’s stop this crisis by putting it to a

80 years ago today Hitler's Germany invaded Poland. Since then the people of Europe have lived in peaceful harmony, working together to try to address the challenges that are common to us all. There has been no war. Brexit is the greatest act of national stupidity in our history.

We now have a UK government that can’t/won’t say a simple ‘yes’ to the question ‘will you abide by the law?’ Not so much prorogue as just plain rogue. These are dangerous times for democracy. We mustn’t allow this behaviour to be normalised.

Tomorrow I meet PM . I hope that he will not like to go down in history as “Mr. No Deal”. The EU is ready to listen to operational, realistic ideas acceptable to all Member States including Ireland, if and when the UK government is ready to put them on the table.

Whoever the Tories crown next PM, the parliamentary arithmetic will be the same. There is no clear majority for any specific form of Brexit. To break this deadlock we need to put it back to the people.

He has lied unceasingly to wives, mistresses, employers, voters, colleagues, party leaders & the media. For the modern Conservative Party, *all* of this is outweighed by the fact that Boris Johnson writes racist things & is still pretending that Brexit is in any way a good idea.

At a time when Britain’s future is so uncertain and jobs are on the line, it’s unthinkable to allow 120,000 Conservative Party members to choose the next prime minister. We need a general election now.
