Nick Beggs
Today I heard a remarkable statement from a scientist. They said, โ€œIf you are still eating meat you are not serious about stopping climate change.โ€

Other very scary news today about climate change too, about us having approximately ten years to do something before doom. And then I thought, shit with our Brexit loons here and the Trump lot over in the US weโ€™re really screwed ๐Ÿ˜ณโ˜น๏ธ

Give me a break. Everyone wants to point the finger first without looking at their own misdeeds. My carbon footprint is likely a fraction of Mr. Beggs. Oh but shame on me if I eat meat.

So you are just willfully missing the point and making it about who has the biggest carbon footprint? You told us nothing we donโ€™t already know to take a cheap shot. If what Nick is sharing is true how are your comments helpful? Iโ€™ll wait.

The numbers don't lie mate. However, it's one of many options that needed to be adopted.

Because it comes across as hypocrisy. We know Nick is a vegetarian, so it's him pointing the finger at people who eat meat, which would be fine, except he makes it about climate change. The world is too full of climate change hypocrites.

You are reading far too much into his comment. I did not see any subtext where he said meat eaters are more to blame, he was just sharing information. If you want to make the comparison if Nick quits flying it hurts his career, if you quit eating meat it hurts you not at all.

That's from the C02 crowd, in case you hadn't noticed chemtrails in the skies and haarp weapons being used by the industrialized nations, all this so called weather modification has pushed us to the brink, sure reducing C02 would help normal human activity.
