Yes I agree with that. And of course, it bears noting that the converse is also true, for some others. Which is what makes the terrain so complex for those of us trying to steer clear of both extremes, both sets of pitfalls

I’m not sure he ever went after Sheena, per se, but to her enormous and enduring credit, Sheena very often (and more than most) stood up to him when he attacked the credibility of others

I don’t know about the particular myth you mention, but I have generally felt comfortable arguing that relative success in managing the pandemic in Asia is connected to more people wearing masks, because of past experience with things like SARS and MERS. You disagree?
