True, not apples-to-apples. Box converts 15% of organizations to paid (source: Box S-1) so that's more comparable. Still very impressive!

That’s true. Even though they were pre revenue, they could still share stellar product usage metrics (and potentially early signs of monetization). That combined with a clear long-term vision does the job in the early stages.

Dropbox S-1 reports absolute user numbers: Barclay's analyst report for Slack and SurveyMonkey ... time frames aren't perfect and I'd think all teams are constantly trying to move the needle on this metric!
