. The Remembrance Ceremony was held at the Commander Dan Shanower September 11 Memorial. Shanower, a native of Naperville and a Naval Commander, died in the attack on the Pentagon. Today we remember his life and the lives of the brave men and women lost on that day.

Today's funeral service and burial of Mayor Emeritus Pradel are PRIVATE. However, the community may pay their respects one last time by witnessing the funeral procession, which will pass and proceed thru downtown. The procession is expected to begin around 11 a.m.
