This morning I’m at LIRR station to talk to riders& LIRR management called the MTA police to kick me off the platform. I’m here to talk to riders about how service can improve. What is LIRR management so scared of? Service is poor. Rates are sky high. This must change.

On this anniversary of our great victory last year on this date for the 37th SD, I express my deepest gratitude to the thousands (!) who helped make it happen and turn the NYS Senate blue! We promised to make change and we have, but much more work to be done! Thank you all!

Happy ! There are lots of simple but impactful actions we can take in our daily lives to help tackle like conserving energy at home and at work, avoiding single-use plastics, & purchasing locally-grown food, which supports farms while reducing food miles.

Here in Syracuse, we've known for years that we are on the rise. This grant is the direct result of more cooperation by the city, county, and nonprofits, and the years of groundwork from community organizations who never stopped believing in the Salt City.

Westchester lawmakers delivered $400,000 to to hire 4 new attorneys to work on housing and eviction cases. This funding means the difference between keeping people in their homes and homelessness. Thank you to for your leadership on this issue.

We've seen a disturbing rise in extremism and anti-Semitic violence over the past few years. It's why I fought to secure $100,000 in the State Budget for the Federation's Secure Jewish Buffalo Fund. Via :
