Gradual rain decrease in extent & intensity over next 2-4 hrs across NE FL, but continued rain across the Suwannee River Valley (I-75 corridor west) will continue potential flood threat this evening. River rises ongoing along portions of Santa Fe

Areal flood warning in effect for Ichetucknee Springs, Fort White, & Hildreth areas trough 730 PM. Up to 2 inches of rain has fallen in these areas with another 1 to 2 inches expected over the next few hours. Never walk or drive through flood waters.

Lower chances of rain showers expected in around Palm Coast. Most of the rainfall will remain to your northwest through this evening and late tonight. Any rainfall should total less than a quarter of an inch.

Areal Flood warning in effect for Live Oak, Dowling Park, Newburn, & Luraville areas through 630 PM. Heavy rainfall from slow moving storms is expected to produce 1 to 3 inches of rain on saturated grounds. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flood waters.

Areal flood advisory in effect through 545PM for Lake City, Olustee, & Sanderson where up to 2 inches of rain has fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall is expected as thundershowers move slowly eastward. Minor flooding is possible in low lying spots.

12:50 PM: Heavy downpours are overspreading the Okefenokee Swamp and the I-75 corridor. Use caution if traveling north of Ocala, as downpours over saturated ground will likely result in ponding of water over roadways, with urban flooding possible around Lake City

A Flood Watch continues through this evening for portions of the Suwannee Valley and inland north central FL, where an additional 2-3 inches of rain will be possible. Remember, if you encounter a road with flowing water over it, "Turn Around, Don't Drown"
